Basketball Courts

Overland Park has outdoor basketball courts at several city parks.

They are first-come, first-serve. There is no fee to use the courts.

Indoor Basketball Courts

Indoor basketball courts are available at Matt Ross Community Center and Tomahawk Ridge Community Center. Visitors must purchase a daily pass or membership.

Construction Notice:

Starting February 3, 2025, the Switzer Park pickleball courts will be removed and rebuilt with new surfacing and fencing to improve safety and play experience. This project will take about 75 days. The courts will be closed during that time. While construction is underway, you can play pickleball at these Overland Park locations: Antioch Acres Park, Maple Hills Park and Young’s Park.


Switzer Park is a 16-acre park with plenty of recreation opportunities, including lighted tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, and a skate park, plus access to Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, Scheels Overland Park Soccer Complex, St. Andrews Golf Club, and the bike/hike trails.
