The City of Overland Park has a new website that will better serve residents, businesses, and visitors in our community.
The primary goal of the website project was to give www.opkansas.org an updated look and feel. The City’s website was last fully redesigned in 2008. The updated site includes more images and video, is easier to navigate, and was designed with mobile visitors and accessibility in mind.
It also provides expanded information on recreation attractions in Overland Park, including the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, City parks, and more. The site gives residents easy access to information about public construction and private development projects, simple ways to conduct business with the City, and quick links to contact elected representatives.
City staff in the City Manager’s Office Communications Division and Information Technology Department worked with DMH Advertising out of Kansas City, Mo., to create the design and content for the redesign.
The new site, at www.opkansas.org, debuted on Thursday.
