Overland Park is making the whole City shimmer!
The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to embrace the festive spirit than by exploring the dazzling holiday lights throughout Overland Park? From enchanting displays to magical scenery, the City offers several opportunities to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.
Nestled in the heart of Downtown OP, Thompson Park transforms into a winter wonderland during the holiday season. The neighborhood comes alive with twinkling lights and festive decorations. Standing more than 50 feet tall, the holiday tree near the park’s performance stage is the perfect backdrop for a holiday photo.
The park is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and restrooms are heated and open during the winter.
Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead
Experience the enchantment of the season at Holiday Lights on Farmstead Lane daily from 5-10 p.m. beginning November 23. Bring some cocoa, cookies and blankets as you view the lights and hear the music from the warmth of your car in the Farmstead parking lot. The display is at the main entrance of Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead.
