Nov. 10 Update: Applications for this program have now closed.
Overland Park small businesses that need support during the COVID-19 pandemic can now find it with the City’s CDBG Small Business Economic Recovery Program.
Beginning tomorrow, businesses can apply for the relief through the Community Capital Fund.
The program will award grants of up to $5,000 to small businesses in Overland Park struggling with capital and payroll expenses, low demand, and other challenges associated coronavirus reopening.
Businesses must meet eligibility priorities, including being able to show a loss of income since the pandemic began.
The City and Community Capital Fund will host two information sessions on October 23 and 24 and walk-in office hours beginning October 21 to assist businesses with applications.
Update: Recordings of the information sessions at your convenience on the Community Capital Fund website.
Applications open October 20 and are due by November 9 at 5 p.m.
RSVP for an informational session, find office hours and eligibility information, and apply on the Community Capital Fund website.
