Lace-up your sneakers, and get ready to plog!
A combination of jogging and picking up litter, plogging blends exercise with environmental responsibility. Team up with friends, family and neighbors on October 21 at Overland Park’s designated site for the 2023 Kansas City Plogtober Cleanup, Quivira Park.
Pick up supplies at Quivira Park, 11901 Quivira Rd., between 9 a.m. and noon before heading out for fresh air and exercise along Indian Creek. Route maps, safety information and waivers will be provided.
Every piece of trash you collect during your jog contributes to a cleaner, more beautiful environment. Plogging is a small action that collectively makes a big difference.
