OP Strategic Communications Director named Kansas Communicator of the Year

The Kansas Association of Public Information Officers named Overland Park Strategic Communications Director Meg Ralph the Kansas Communicator of the Year! 

Known for her storytelling finesse and knack for sharing information quickly and effectively, Meg is the voice behind so much of what you see and read (but no, she didn’t write this!). 

Meg’s efficient communication style keeps residents informed and engaged. Throughout her more than eight years with the City, Meg has led efforts to ensure residents and visitors can easily access information through their preferred channels, including social media, printed and electronic newsletters, the City’s website and more.

From impactful communications initiatives to navigating challenging situations with a steady hand, Meg embodies leadership, creativity and an unwavering commitment to public trust. 

“Meg is a highly valued member of the Executive Leadership Team leading this organization forward,” Overland Park City Manager Lori Curtis Luther shared. “Her input on key issues has been integral to modernizing this organization, rethinking our public interfaces and reenergizing our content.”
