Overland Park’s Most-Spirited Holiday Home contest is back!
Is it a beaut, Clark?
Does your display sleigh?
Then submit a photo of the outside of your decorated home now through Dec. 13. Show off your twinkling light display, garland, wreaths, inflatables or any other decorations on your porch, driveway, deck or yard.
Admire the work of others and vote for your favorite between Dec. 16-20. We will notify the winner and announce the winning home on social media Monday, Dec. 23.
Winners will receive bragging rights and their choice of up to six, one-day admission passes to any of the following attractions:
- Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead (open for the season on April 1, 2025)
- Matt Ross Community Center
- Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
- Tomahawk Ridge Community Center
Entrants can choose to be featured on our Entry Map, allowing everyone to take a virtual tour of the best holiday lights in Overland Park from the comfort of their cars. Once the entries start rolling in, we’ll share a map of this year’s submissions so you can view the lights in person.
To give others a chance to shine, previous contest winners won’t be eligible for the grand title. But don’t worry! They can still deck the halls and submit their homes to be included on the map, spreading holiday cheer for all to see. Plus, all previous winners will have their incredible displays forever honored in our website’s “Winners Circle” gallery, showcasing the best of holiday spirit.
This holiday season, let’s illuminate Overland Park with the warmth and beauty of your festive home decorations. Find contest information and the submission form at opkansas.org/HolidayHome.
