A new internet exchange zone outside the Sanders Justice Center, 12400 Foster, allows for the safe exchange of local online transactions.
The parking stalls are located at the far south end of the public parking lot on the east side of the building. They are designated with green paint and a sign that reads “Internet Exchange Zone.”
Use the internet exchange zone to complete online transactions safely and in a public place. The space is also available for child custody exchanges.
A dedicated camera attached to a light pole monitors activity in the zone. Officers are regularly in the area as the Sanders Justice Center is also a police station.
This is the first of two anticipated internet exchange zones on Police Department property. A second will be added to the Myron E. Scafe Building parking lot when it is reconstructed in 2020.
