The barn doors may be closed for the season, but Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead is BAH-ursting with excitement as it prepares to welcome new additions to its furry family!
As their due dates near, expectant mama goats settle into the Farmstead’s Dairy Barn maternity ward, carefully paired with roommates based on their personalities and temperaments. Each mama typically welcomes one to three baby goats, and everyone at the Farmstead eagerly awaits their arrival.
Adding to the fun, the Farmstead chooses a special naming theme for the baby goats each year. Past themes included everything from Chiefs players to Pokémon characters.
This year’s theme: Nicktoons! Will we have a Tommy Pickles, Eliza Thornberry or SpongeBob?
