Farm-tastic Fun with Mad Science
Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead
Ages 4-9

Children ages 4-9 will have fun with this educational summer camp planned with activities related to animals and science. Each session runs Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-noon.

Just for Fun Preschool Camp
Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
Ages 3-5

Johnson County Park & Recreation District and the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens are teaming up for a summer of preschool day camp! Each session runs Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Just for Fun Preschool Camp is a great opportunity for young children to try camp out for the first time and make new friends while enjoying creative, engaging and fun activities.

Camp Shakespeare at the Arboretum
Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
Ages 8-14

Shakespeare Camps are fun and unique summer arts experiences your child will never forget. Your camper will collaborate, create, learn language and presentation skills, build confidence and have fun! Camp Shakespeare gives students a two-week interactive curriculum, including Shakespearean history, visual art, performance and acting techniques. The evening of the final class, Camp Shakespeare students have an opportunity to share their work with family and friends.

  • July 22-August 2, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday
