The northbound U.S. 69 ramp to 135th Street fully closed to traffic Sunday, March 16 for ramp reconstruction as part of the 69Express project. The ramp will reopen at the end of April.
The Kansas Department of Transportation’s project will build a new express toll lane in each direction adjacent to the existing general-purpose lanes to increase safety and improve congestion in the area. Additional work is also taking place at U.S. 69 and the 167th Street interchange as part of the project.
