Update: The nightly closure of the northbound U.S. 69 to Blue Valley Parkway off ramp has been rescheduled for September 10-12.
Three ramps at U.S. 69 will fully close beginning Tuesday, September 3 as part of the 69 Express project.Â
The northbound U.S 69 to Blue Valley Parkway off ramp will close between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. from September 3-6 for bridge work.
The northbound U.S. 69 to westbound I-435 ramp and the westbound I-435 to southbound U.S. 69 ramp will close between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. from September 3-6 for bridge construction.
The Kansas Department of Transportation’s project will build a new express toll lane in each direction adjacent to the existing general-purpose lanes to increase safety and improve congestion in the area. The express lanes will open to traffic by the end of 2025. Additional work is also taking place at U.S. 69 and the 167th Street interchange as part of the project.
