Beginning July 28, the northbound U.S. 69 ramp to 119th Street will fully close to traffic for approximately 90 days.
The 119th Street to northbound U.S. 69 and the southbound U.S. 69 to 119th Street ramps closed in late June. Starting in late August, all 119th Street ramps and 119th Street will be fully closed until late October.
Detours will be marked, and the 119th Street interchange and ramps will reopen in October.
The Kansas Department of Transportation’s project will build a new express toll lane in each direction adjacent to the existing general-purpose lanes to increase safety and improve congestion in the area. The express lanes will open to traffic by the end of 2025. Additional work is also taking place at U.S. 69 and the 167th Street interchange as part of the project.
