77th Street and Metcalf Traffic Signal Project

The City of Overland Park will add left turn lanes for northbound and southbound Metcalf Avenue at 77th Street and install a new traffic signal at the intersection.

This project is part of the City of Overland Park enacting its ultimate vision for the Metcalf Avenue corridor set forth in the Metcalf Avenue Preliminary Engineering Study.

Right-of-way and easement appraisal and acquisition are set for 2025, with utility relocations planned for 2026. Construction is expected to begin in early 2027.
