Alarm Users Permit

A permit is required for any commercial security, residential security or medical alarm system installed in a building, structure or facility that can elicit police response.

Block Party Permit

Block party permits are required for anyone who plans to block off any part of the street as part of a neighborhood block party.

Burn Permit

A permit is required for open burns on public streets and public or private grounds, except for recreational fires. Apply for an open burn permit online using the ePLACE portal.

Liquor Licenses

Liquor licenses are required for businesses or organizations that sell or serve alcoholic liquor, including catering services, drinking establishments, private clubs, and at events.

Tent Permits

Special event permits are required for many events with large tents. Fire inspectors will ensure the tent is safely assembled and compliant with fire prevention code.
