Public Comments
Public hearings give applicants, residents and other interested parties the opportunity to provide testimony about pending development proposals and planning activities.
Planning Commission agendas indicate if a public hearing is required or planned for an item.
The Planning Commission forwards many of its recommendations to the City Council for final action. Plats and some preliminary plans do not require City Council action. Planning Commission action on plats and City Council action on other applications are final unless appealed to district court.
