Lanes and ramps at the I-435 and U.S. 69 interchange will be closed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Dec. 13 and 14 to allow bridge girder setting work as part of the 69 Express project.

The Kansas Department of Transportation’s project will build a new express lane in each direction adjacent to the existing general-purpose lanes to increase safety and improve congestion in the area. Additional work is also taking place at U.S. 69 and the 167th Street interchange as part of the project.
