At the Arboretum, you’ll find over 1,700 species carefully cultivated across themed gardens and natural landscapes. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat, a family-friendly outing, or a chance to learn something new, the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens offers something different around every bend in the path.

Begin your adventure at LongHouse Visitor Center. Visitors can take in stunning views of gardens and ponds from LongHouse free of charge. Before you enter the gardens, purchase admission in the gift shop, or skip the line and purchase your tickets before you arrive.

Grab a bite to eat at Café Celeste and discover unique treasures in the Gift Shop.

Café Celeste

Café Celeste’s menu features freshly brewed coffee, delicious salads and sandwiches and a selection of baked goods. You can visit the café year-round, making it the perfect place to meet and connect with friends.

Stop by the Gift Shop for a curated selection of exceptional finds that reflect the spirit of the Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.

Guided Tours

Walking Tour

Guided tours of the Arboretum are available for $10 per person, plus admission. Please book your tour at least three weeks in advance. Tours must be paid in full before your arrival. Admission may be purchased on-site.

Walking tours are available seven days a week. Groups may not exceed 30 guests.

All tours start and end at the admission kiosk, located near the parking lot and main entrance of the Arboretum.

Golf Cart Tour

Guided tours of the Arboretum are available for $10 per person, plus admission. Please book your tour at least three weeks in advance. Tours must be paid in full before your arrival. Admission may be purchased on-site.

Cart tours are available Monday-Friday and are limited to twelve guests.

All tours start and end by the admission kiosk, located near the parking lot and main entrance of the Arboretum.
