Father’s Day is almost here! Whether you are a father, about to become a father or are celebrating the father figure in your life, Overland Park is full of opportunities to celebrate and make memories with dad.
- Hit the links! Book a tee time at one of Overland Park’s scenic golf courses. The tree lined 18-hole course at St. Andrews Golf Club challenges both novice and experienced golfers. Sykes/Lady Overland Park Golf Club offers a wide range of play with 27 regulation holes and a par 3 course.
- Make a splash or kick back and relax at one of the City’s four outdoor pools open 12-7 p.m. daily:

- Find the perfect fishing spot at one of the City’s six lakes located within City parks. The City’s two largest lakes, South Lake and Kingston Lake, feature fishing piers. A fishing license is required at all City lakes for everyone ages 16-74.
- If you’re looking for even more excitement, challenge your family to a game of tennis, pickleball, volleyball or basketball. Find which City parks offer your favorite activity at opkansas.org.
- Seek adventure on the City’s bike trails. Overland Park also has more than 120 miles of bike lanes. If you don’t own a bike, Ride KC has a bikeshare program with locations throughout Johnson County, and Bird scooters and bikes are available to rent in Overland Park. You can borrow a an e-bike or a scooter.
