Most-Spirited Holiday Home Contest
The Most-Spirited Holiday Home Contest is back!
Enter the Contest
To enter the contest, submit one photo of the outside of your home decorated for the holidays between Nov. 29-Dec. 13. It could be lights, garland, wreaths, inflatables or other decorations on your porch, driveway, deck or yard.
Only Overland Park homes are eligible for entry.
To give others a chance to shine, previous winners of the contest will no longer be eligible for the grand title, but we encourage past winners to submit a photo of their home to be included on the map for others to enjoy their display in person.
Voting
Check back after the submission deadline to vote for your favorite decorations!
Voting opens Monday, Dec. 16 and closes Friday, Dec. 20. We’ll share photos of submissions on the City of Overland Park Facebook page, but only votes submitted via the form will be considered official.
We will notify the winner and publicly announce the winning home on social media on Monday, Dec. 23.
Winners will receive bragging rights that extend through the New Year and their choice of up to six one-day admission passes to any of the following attractions:
- Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead
- Matt Ross Community Center
- Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens
- Tomahawk Community Center

In the entry form, residents can opt-in to include their homes on our holiday lights map. Once the entries start rolling in, we’ll share a map of this year’s submissions so you can view the lights in person.
