Strang Park is an 11-acre neighborhood park featuring an inclusive playground, family-friendly restrooms and gaming areas, historical markers, access to nearby amenities and more.

The City updated Strang Park in 2021 and 2022 after receiving feedback from neighbors and park visitors. Improvements include:

The outdoor courts are first come, first served. There is no fee to use them.

The park features portions of the original Strang Line railroad and national historic trail signage.
A “words walk” that lets visitors experience many of their favorite children’s books as they move throughout the park’s loop trail.
Signage throughout the park includes inspiring words throughout the park from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
