Come and get lost in our patch of pre-picked pumpkins.
From big and small to round and tall, you'll find a pumpkin you like and so much more at the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead's Pumpkin Hollow:
Oct. 3-26, 2008
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends
$7 admission fee, children and adults (under 1 free)
At Pumpkin Hollow, a horse-drawn wagon ride will take you to and from the patch where each person gets to take home a pumpkin of his or her choice. Once there, you can:
- Get lost in a corn/hay maze
- Fish for pumpkins
- Climb a hay pyramid
- Play in a "corn" box
- Shoot pumpkin hoops and
- Participate in the creepy, crawly snake jump.
This is the farmstead's primary fundraiser.
To make Pumpkin Hollow reservations for groups of 25 or more, email the large group reservation form (.pdf file) to farmsteadfriends@opkansas.org.
