It's spring - and spring means flowers!

Come on out to the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens to buy your annuals, herbs, perennials, hanging baskets, planters, hostas and more (all are locally grown).

The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Arboretum's "Big Top" tent. The sale will be held rain or shine.

Friends of the Arboretum members will get a sneak preview the day before the sale from 4 to 7 p.m. (FOTA members receive a 10 percent discount; you can join anytime to receive the discount).

Hundreds of plants will be available; all are reasonably priced.
