Since 2000, Overland Park has conducted three citywide surveys of residents to measure their level of satisfaction with various services and issues.
In the last survey:
- 94 percent of respondents indicated they were satisfied or very satisfied with Overland Park's image;
- 97 percent rated Overland Park an "excellent" or "good" place to live;
- 95 percent indicated the city was a good place to raise children; and
- 93 percent indicated it was a good place to work.
All the surveys show that residents of Overland Park want the city to place emphasis over the next two years on management of traffic flow and maintenance of city streets.
