The city created the Neighborhood Conservation Program to provide special services for neighborhoods and to help build a sense of community in Overland Park.
The Neighborhood Conservation Program assists residents with organizing new neighborhood groups, provides short-term support to the new groups and offers guidance, as well as leadership and communication training, to new leaders and group members. Limited staff support is available to existing neighborhood groups and homes associations.
