The Home Improvement Partnership Program makes below market rate loans available to Overland Park residents who own and occupy either a one or two-unit family dwelling.
Program year: July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009

Loan range:
The minimum loan amount is $1,000 per loan; $15,000 maximum. The city has committed approximately $50,000 to offset a portion of the interest on loans.

- Fence repair or replacement*
- Deck repair or replacement*
- Screened porch repair or replacement*
- Replacement of garage doors
- Replacement of windows
- Roofing
- Driveway*
- Sidewalk
- Shutters and awnings
- Gutters
- Landscaping
- Retaining walls*
- Repair or replacement of existing detached structures*

Application Process:
Loan applications are available at several Valley View State Bank locations. Pre-approval or denial is determined by loan officials within 24 hours.
After the loan is approved by Valley View State Bank, call Caren Knight, 895-6221, or Florence Erickson, 895-6212, of the Planning and Development Services Department for the city guidelines.
Some improvements may require a permit. You must have a current picture of the project area to be improved, contractor´s cost estimate or written list of improvements and costs, and any required permits.
