This 17-member advisory task force was created to help develop a future land use plan and set of land use goals for 8.35 square miles annexed into the city from western Aubry Township in March 2008.
The task force will last approximately one year, beginning in October 2008.
Once completed, the task force recommendations will be presented to the Overland Park Governing Body and Planning Commission for consideration as part of the city’s Master Plan, which is updated annually. Several public hearings will be held as the Master Plan is updated for additional input.
