Overland Park requires all contractors working in the city to be licensed.
Overland Park is participating in this program with Johnson County, which administers the licensing program.
Some of the key points of the program that make it unique and attractive are:
- There are several methods to obtaining a license other than just testing.
- In order to maintain your active status, there will be educational requirements yearly.
- The Contractor Licensing Review Board will be a balanced board consisting of Contractors, Code Officials, Design Professionals, and Advocates.
